It's truly phenomenal what a combination of safety, trust, time, and pure receiving can do for a woman!
A client just left who spent a full 4.5 hours here for her second session. I'll explain further down the page why this is the case.
First, I'll briefly outline her situation and summarize what she shared with me in the appointment form she initially filled out.
"Since I was 18, I've struggled with an eating disorder stemming from emotional and physical neglect in my family, and a traumatic event at 16. I kept quiet about this for over 20 years due to shame, disgust, and hatred of my body, and the feeling of being unseen. My eating disorder and escaping into my work allowed me to cope with the pain. Five years ago, when I could no longer handle my body, I finally sought help. I've come a long way in recovery, and last year I opened up about my trauma for the first time. I'm still in therapy, primarily working on my body image and shame, and I've gained another 40 pounds. Yet, my body continues to block me, and I find it difficult to embrace my feminine curves. My fear of relapse and my physical condition hinder my recovery process and make it difficult to accept myself."
At 16, she was the victim of rape. As a result, she cut herself off from her body. Sexuality and pleasure are essentially foreign to her. She never touches herself and doesn't really know what an orgasm feels like.
During the first session, I noticed she has quite a lot of sexual energy. But because of her negative body image and shame, she's not really allowed to experience it. During the session, I literally see her body struggling and conflicted between wanting pleasure and judging herself. Due to her sexual trauma, the entrance to the yoni is very painful, so the yoni massage was limited mainly to the external part.
The second session was completely different! She was able to start with more confidence and security compared to the first session, which allowed her to delve deeper into herself. I still saw the conflict, but this time she managed to allow herself to experience more pleasure. The biggest surprise for me was that the yoni massage was completely painless afterward. After the session, she was completely gone from this world, which was literally spinning before her eyes. It took almost an hour and a half for her to recover and safely start the car ride home.
It gives me incredible satisfaction that I've already reached this point with her (teamwork!) after just two sessions, because she's truly come a long way.
Finally, I can conclude: It's never too late for change! 🙏
She summarizes her 3 main complaints as follows:
Recently I had a new client come to me who had been abused by a tantra masseur in Flanders a few months earlier. It was the first time for me to hear someone's story directly as a victim in this way. Many clients who opt for tantra massage often have problems setting boundaries for themselves and easily fall into a pattern of pleasing. This client was someone who struggled with this and in my opinion the tantra masseur in question exploited this to the fullest and went way over the line in this way.
'Axel gaat binnen' has been mentioned several times by tantra massage clients of mine. The TV program with Axel Daeseleire has generated some new media attention. I think it is a very good thing that tantra is coming into the spotlight in this way. If a viewer feels that it triggers something in him or her, they will quickly turn to Google to find out more. In this way I have already had several new customers who felt called to experience what it can do for them.
